Look at the websites that are hotlisted
Decide which are your best pieces; you are required to have 10 pieces.
If you are photographing 3D pieces you must take photographs from two angles.
Mrs. Heideman has a digital camera that you may use, but you must bring in a disk.
Each image must have the following information typed on it: medium (what is it made out of), size (height, width, and length if 3D), title (all artwork must be titled...untitled is not an option)
Look at the hotlisted sites for artist’s statements. After looking at these examples try to write your own statement about your work.
Start to build your PowerPoint presentation. If you choose to not complete this assignment you will fail the course. This assignment counts as your final exam grade.
Remember this project represents you as an artist and also as a student. Meaning make sure your photographs are good, clear, show your work well and that the written areas are spelled correctly, grammatically correct, and make you sound intelligent. |
